Shh *pats you softly* I know. We must not speak of the obviously huge elephant in the room. We are just going to ignore him ... or her ...
In 2012 I read 27 books. The last time I posted I was reading Shopoholic Takes Manhattan (Sophie Kinsella). I finished that, read Catcher in the Rye (J. D. Salinger), Let It Snow (John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle), Women Are Worthy (a book by a friend of my mother), Shopaholic Ties The Knot (Sophie Kinsella) and The Perks of Being A Walflower (Stephen Chbosky).
So far this year I have read 14 books.
The Postmistress (Sarah Blake), Stay (Deb Caletti), Easy (Tammara Webber), I've Got Your Number (Sophie Kinsella), Twenties Girl (Sophie Kinsella), Love The One You're With (Emily Giffin - which I didn't finish), Never Let Me Go (Kazuo Ishiguro), Every Day (David Levithan), We Wish To Inform You (Philip Gourevitch), The Virgin Suicides (Jeffrey Eugenides), Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen), The Scarlet Letter (Nathaniel Hawthorne), 50 Shades of Grey (E L James).
I am currently reading, well technically rereading The Great Gatsby. I bought it late last month and started reading it on the 1st but things keep happening and I've barely gotten into the book. This copy of the book has ten short stories and I'm looking forward to reading them ... if I can focus enough to sit and read.
That's it for now.
